Printing Technology introduces students to the history and technology of the printing process. This course will give students a better understanding of what happens to a digital layout during the printing process.
The basic concepts of traditional prepress are reviewed, as well as digital terminology and digital prepress concepts.
This course takes place weekly at the Area Career Center near LaSalle-Peru High School and includes hands-on experience with various types of prepress, printing, and post-printing equipment.
