Helen Krieger wins GAERF student design competition.

Illinois Valley Community College graphic design student Helen E. Krieger, of Streator, won second place in the post-secondary division of the Graphic Arts Education and Research Foundation 2012 Student Design Competition.

Krieger  received an official notification and was awarded a $1,500 check prize.”This is indeed a notable accomplishment,” said Eileen D. Cassidy, GAERF  director.

Krieger’s submission was featured in a special display during GRAPH EXPO 2012 Oct. 7 – 10 on Education Main Street at the McCormick Place exhibition center in Chicago where printing industry professionals from around the world gathered.
