Adobe Illustrator was first developed for the Apple Macintosh in December 1986  as a commercialization of Adobe’s in-house font development software. It has become part of Adobe’s “Creative Suite” of software for the commercial graphic designer.

While Photoshop is primarily geared toward digital photo manipulation and photorealistic styles of computer illustration, Illustrator provides results in the typesetting and vector graphic areas of design.

IVCC offers Adobe Illustrator classes for beginners, as well a second level for more advanced students. Knowledge of the Illustrator software is vitally important for today’s graphic designer as well as being lots of fun to use! The only limit is your creativity!
